Departure to Jaipur (3 hours): After witnessing the Taj Mahal sunrise and exploring the local market you will move towards “The Pink City” Jaipur.

Hawa Mahal: The Palace of Winds: First step into the iconic symbol of Jaipur’s architectural brilliance and rich cultural heritage. Constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, this stunning five-story palace is an intricate façade with 953 small windows, or jharokhas, adorned with delicate latticework.

 

The unique design of Hawa Mahal was envisioned to allow the royal women of the palace to observe street festivals and daily life without being seen themselves, owing to the purdah system prevalent at that time. The latticed windows not only provided privacy but also facilitated the flow of cool air, ensuring ventilation in the palace, hence the name “Palace of Winds.”

Jal Mahal: The Water Palace: Then move towards the captivating architectural marvel situated amidst the serene waters of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur. Built in the 18th century by Maharaja Madho Singh I, this enchanting palace exemplifies Rajput and Mughal architectural styles.

The unique feature of Jal Mahal is its location—appearing to float on the water when the lake is full. While the upper floors of the palace remain above the waterline, the lower floors submerge when the lake level rises during the monsoon season.

The Chandra Mahal within the complex serves as the residence of the royal family and houses an extensive collection of artifacts, manuscripts, and paintings showcasing Jaipur’s cultural legacy.

Evening: 

Explore Local Market: Shop for traditional Rajasthani handicrafts, textiles, and jewelry at local markets like Johari Bazaar or Bapu Bazaar.

Departure for Delhi: Departure from Jaipur to Delhi in the evening. After reaching Delhi you will be dropped at your Hotel, Airport or Station with the beautiful memories.
